Britney Spears - Pregnant Again!

Us Weekly is reporting that pop star Britney Spears is--as has been rumored for weeks--indeed pregnant again. The singer was spotted poolside this weekend in Las Vegas--where her husband Kevin Federline was performing at a record release party for his debut solo album, Playing With Fire--wearing a bikini that reportedly showed off a sizeable bump.

The magazine reports that the second Spederline spawn is due in late September/early October--almost exactly one year after the birth of the couple's son, Sean Preston, who is currently seven months old.

Britney may sue over baby’s fall from high chair

By Jeannette Walls

Updated: 2:49 a.m. ET April 19, 2006
Britney Spears' baby boy recently fell and bonked his head, but the singer reportedly thinks a high chair might be to blame.

A nanny was taking the seven-month-old tot from his high chair earlier this month when "something snapped,” according to a report in People magazine.

Baby Sean Preston was taken to the hospital, where he was deemed okay, but now Spears is looking into suing the maker of the chair, according to In Touch Weekly. "The chair's back broke,” a "family insider” explained to the mag. "She's going to see if there was a fault in the chair.”

Meanwhile, Shar Jackson — the mother of two children by Spears' hubby, Kevin Federline — reportedly doesn't have great faith in Spears' mothering abilities.

"Shar told Kevin that Britney can't be alone with their kids,” a source told the mag. "Shar said that if Kevin wants to see their kids, he and Britney must do it at a hotel. "She doesn't know what goes on at their house and there are too many strangers hanging around.”

Cruise, Holmes Have Baby Girl Named Suri

The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES -- The Tomkitten has arrived. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the high-profile pair dubbed TomKat by the media, had a baby girl Tuesday, said Cruise spokesman Arnold Robinson. The baby, named Suri, weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20 inches long, he said.

"Both mother and daughter are doing well," Robinson said in a prepared statement.

The name Suri has its origins in Hebrew, meaning "princess," or in Persian, meaning "red rose," the statement said.

The baby was born in Los Angeles but the exact location was not disclosed.

It's the first child for Holmes, 27. Cruise, 43, has an adopted daughter and son from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Details surrounding the birth, which was planned under the tenets of the Church of Scientology as a silent procedure, weren't disclosed.

Outside the Beverly Hills home where Cruise and Holmes live, about a dozen reporters and photographers stood by. Security officers inside the compound videotaped the journalists.

A security guard at the gate — which was shrouded in black to prevent anyone from seeing in — refused to release any information. A few cars did arrive and were allowed into the estate. A police motorcycle officer stopped by around 4 p.m. and sat watching the goings-on.

The patrolman, who identified himself as Officer Chase, said he was just making a routine check, since activity around the area had been heightened for some time. He asked if the baby had been born, was told yes, and drove off.

It was just about a year ago that Cruise's romance with Holmes became a world sensation.

Cruise hopped up and down on a couch during an interview with Oprah Winfrey as he professed his love.

Pitt, Jolie May Choose Namibian Baby Name

A local governor in Namibia said Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt told him they will have their baby in his country and are considering giving it a Namibian name, a newspaper reported Sunday.

Samuel Sheefeni Nuuyoma, the governor of the Namibian province where the couple is staying at a heavily guarded lodge, said he met with the two stars on Friday, according to The Sunday Times of South Africa.

"They are having the baby here and they talked about giving the child a Namibian name," Nuuyoma was quoted as saying. He said Jolie had made the choice because "she loves Namibia."

Nuuyoma could not immediately be reached for more comment.

Namibian immigration officials confirmed earlier this month that the couple and five other people, including two children, arrived in Walvis Bay on a chartered jet from Paris, prompting speculation their baby will be born in Africa.

The couple has been shielded from reporters by heavy security at a secluded beach resort near Walvis Bay.

But the Sunday Times carried what it billed as "exclusive" pictures of Jolie, Pitt and Jolie's two adopted children, as well as a security official chasing a photographer down the beach.

The newspaper also said Pitt has gone riding on an all-terrain vehicle in the Namibian desert and the couple has visited various game reserves and wildlife foundations.

Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, said on Jan. 11 that Jolie, 30, is pregnant with the actor's child. It was unclear when the baby will be born.

A judge in California since granted a request to change the names of Jolie's two children to Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt and Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to reflect that Pitt intends to become their adoptive father.

Pitt, 42, and Jolie, who co-starred in the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," have rented all 14 rooms and suites at the Burning Shores resort, a luxury boutique hotel on Long Beach north of Walvis Bay and near the famous dunes of the Namibian desert.

The actress has traveled to Africa frequently to shoot films and as a goodwill ambassador for the U.N.

Aniston: I’m No Victim

Jennifer Aniston has made it abundantly clear in recent months that she's through with throwing a "little pity party" for herself, and she says she doesn't want anyone else tossing a sympathy soiree, either.

"Don't make me your victim," the actress declares in the April issue of Vogue (via USA Today). "It makes my skin crawl."

And while Jen, 37, forthrightly discusses her split from Brad Pitt with the magazine (as she's done in previous interviews, she avoids referring to her ex-hubby or Angelina Jolie by name), she can't help but vent about being inextricably tied to them in the tabloids.

"I'm so tired of being part of this sick, twisted Bermuda Triangle," she fumes.

Britney’s Budget and Madonna’s Curfew?

If Britney Spears does indeed have another bun baking in her still-warm oven, it's a good bet her plans for a coffer-filling career resurrection will be put on hold. But is the stagnant pop starlet, who has reportedly been crashing in a $12,000-a-night suite at the Maui Four Seasons hotel with hubby Kevin Federline and six-month-old son Sean Preston, growing concerned about her family's financial future?

The New York Post claims Britney is so fed up with K. Fed's freewheeling ways with her cash that she's decided to reach into the extra-deep pockets of his baggy he-capris and grab hold of his purse strings.

"Each month, he will be allotted a certain amount of money for personal use -- i.e., clothing, nightclubs, booze and day-to-day activities," a spy tattles to the paper. "Any big items -- cars or trips that go over allowance -- need to be approved by Brit herself."

Which means he can continue to buy all the white tank tops, cigarettes and corn row-sessions he wants, but any future Ferrari purchases require a thumbs-up from the missus.

Paris’ PR Problem

Prefer your Paris Hilton news served up with a heaping helping dose of schadenfreude? Not satisfied that she's already facing a $10 million defamation lawsuit, a restraining order and the potential exposure of the oh-so-intimate contents of a storage locker? Then take heart, because the self-promoting starlet is now being hit with accusations that she stiffed a worthy cause.

The New York Post reports Hilton, who was reportedly nixed by Vanity Fair overlord Graydon Carter from the magazine's exclusive Oscar fete (her rep insists she decided not to attend), may also become persona non grata at Elton John's annual bash after she failed to pony up the cash for her ticket.

"The party is a benefit gala [for the Elton John AIDS Foundation], and tickets are $2,500 a pop," a mole tells the paper. "When it was suggested to her that she donate the money, Paris just said, 'Don't you know who I am?' and waltzed right in. Isn't she supposed to be wealthy? Everyone else paid. She won't be asked back."

Britney Spears Pulls Out of Photo Shoot Because of Pregnancy?

Former pop tart Britney Spears has caused even more speculation that she is pregnant by pulling out of a photo shoot with a major magazine.  Brit was scheduled to appear on the July cover of Marie Claire magazine, but reportedly has cancelled.

Photo Shoot Pull Out Means Baby?
Photo Shoot Pull Out Means Baby?

Some media insiders are saying that points to the fact that Spears has been packing on the pounds for baby number two reports the NY Daily News.

The Daily Dish cites celebrity conspiracy theorists as believing that's just another piece of the puzzle Britney Spears is pregnant again.

It doesn't take much of a conspiracy theorist to take a look at Brit's belly and take a guess that she is indeed with child again.  Her recent bikini shots showed what appears to be a very large baby bump.

In more snaps from the islands a bikini clad Britney has taken to using a towel to covering her stomach according to Pop Bytes.

Calcium May Help Prevent Severe Pregnancy Complications

Providing calcium supplements to women who are deficient in the mineral can lower the incidence of several severe complications of pregnancy, according to new research published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The study, conducted by a global team of investigators under the auspices of the World Health Organization (WHO), aimed to find out whether a calcium supplement could reduce the complications and mortality caused by preeclampsia -- the development of high blood pressure and protein in the urine during pregnancy. A link to calcium deficiency had been suggested by earlier research.

Preeclampsia and its more severe complications -- such as eclampsia -- can threaten the lives of both mother and child.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, are they married?

With the recent buzz by the media over the secret marriage of Angelina Jolie with the Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, the Post Chronicle has reported that Brad Pitt is desperate to take his wedding vows with lover Angelina Jolie, but the sultry beauty is hesitant to make that decision as she wants to keep herself away from another divorce in her records. The National Ledger had reported of Angelina being photographed in Paris with a gold band on her right thumb and Brad has the same kind of ring on his middle finger. So Hollywood was left speculating this as some kind of bonding between the two couple.

Angelina Jolie worried Brad Pitt will leave her

Brad Pitt and Angelina JolieAngelina Jolie is apparently worried that Brad Pitt will leave her after their baby is born in the summer.

In Touch Weekly is reporting that she is getting increasingly paranoid as the due date approaches - not helped by the memory that her own father Jon Voight left her mother when Angelina was a child.

A source has revealed: “She can’t shake the feeling that what they have is so perfect, it can’t last.”

“It’s an irrational fear because Brad keeps reassuring her that she is the love of his life and they’ll be together forever. But Angelina has this dread that happiness will be snatched from her.”

“She can’t really believe that Brad will stay loyal and true. She knows that her worrying is torture for Brad, but she can’t help it.”

Britney Baby Talk Heats Up

March 9, 2006

Britney Spears isn't about to let persistent pregnancy rumors stop her from dressing in the manner to which she's become accustomed. On Tuesday, the bygone pop princess, 24, who gave birth to Sean Preston in September, traipsed around Maui in an itty-bitty pink bikini that exposed a suspiciously swollen belly.

So did Britney simply down a few too many Frappuccinos, or is the gene pool about to be further diluted with another spawn of Kevin Federline (he also has two children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson)?

It depends on whom you believe.

When contacted for comment on the pregnancy reports, Britney's rep told MSN Entertainment, "As far as I know, she is not pregnant."

That plausible deniability-tinged "as far as I know," coupled with the protruding stomach snaps, seems to add a wee bit of weight -- no pun intended -- to Star magazine's claims that Spears is once again in the family way.

"I'm pregnant!" the Britster supposedly blabbed to a fellow spa-goer at Maui's Four Seasons Hotel, where the tab says she's been holed up in a $12,000-a-day (a day!) presidential suite with Sean Preston and K. Fed.

Is Britney Spears pregnant again?

The "Oops, I Did It Again" pop star rushed to a Malibu hospital last week, and some reports claimed that it was to care for her young son, Sean Preston — who they claim was constipated. But one source insists the news is much happier.

"She was throwing up and had stomach cramps," the source tells The Scoop. "She's pregnant."

Britney Spears: Oops I made a mistake

NEW YORK - Britney Spears has taken responsibility - well, some of it - for driving with her baby son, Sean Preston, sitting in her lap.

"I made a mistake and so it is what it is, I guess," Spears tells "Access Hollywood" in an interview that was to air Thursday.

Several photos published Tuesday showed Spears driving her sport utility vehicle in Malibu, Calif., with her 4-month-old son perched on her lap rather than strapped into a car seat in the back seat.

The 24-year-old pop star said she did it because of a "horrifying, frightful encounter with the paparazzi."

Britney Spears has been criticized for driving with her infant son, Sean Preston, on her lap.

In response, X17, the agency that snapped the pictures, said they were snapped "in a very peaceful context, in which photographers exhibited no aggressive behavior."

"Being put in the situation that I was in, it was kind of bad with the paparazzi," Spears tells "Access Hollywood." "Last week, my mom and I went out and they were on us really bad, so you instinctively do what you need to do."

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has said it won’t pursue any charges.

Sean Preston, who was born in September, is Spears' first child. She is married to Kevin Federline, a former backup dancer.

Wedding whispers and nesting plans for Pitt and Jolie

As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue their "Let's Show Some PDA" European tour of 2006, speculation is growing about their plans for the future. To wit: Where does the rapidly expanding Jolie-Pitt clan plan to settle down? Is an aisle-walk in Italy imminent? And is Brad looking for a little mano-a-mano action on the big screen? Here's a rundown on the latest rumblings on all things Brangelina ...

When not stopping traffic in London or turning the heads of movers and shakers at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the do-gooder duo, who earlier this week jetted into Berlin with 4-year-old Maddox and 1-year-old Zahara, have apparently been figuring out where they're going to live, both short-term and long-term.

The London Mirror says Jolie, who is believed to be about six months along, is close to finalizing a deal to unload her sprawling $4 million estate in Buckinghamshire, England.

"She wanted to sell the place because she and Brad have decided to bring up their family in America," a mole tells the paper. "It's all part of her saying goodbye to her single life ..."

While in Berlin, the pulchritudinous pair reportedly discussed designs for their "dream home" with the same architects who worked on the Beverly Hills mansion the aesthetically minded Pitt spent years renovating with Jennifer Aniston.

"He's into architecture and thinks these guys are the best in the business," the source continues. "They allow him to be really involved in the process, and he's itching to get started on a new project. He and Angelina want a fresh start, so something they build from scratch or a major renovation would be ideal. Although they both love Europe, America is where they earn their livings and Malibu, in particular, is a great place for kids, with the beach and open space on the doorstep."

But with Jolie's due date rapidly approaching, is the family, who have been holed up at Pitt's Malibu compound in between trips around the globe, looking to nest overseas? According to Us, they intend to hunker down in Europe until their genetically gifted bundle of joy arrives, with stopovers planned in the South of France, where the actor was recently seen househunting, and Rome.

Speaking of Italy, wedding whispers switched into high gear this week amid claims that Pitt attempted to rent out the stately Villa d'Este Hotel in Lake Como, Italy, which is right around the corner from pal George Clooney's palatial villa.

"A few months ago we did have contact with Brad Pitt," a loose-lipped hotel exec tells the Mirror. "He asked whether we were available for the first two weeks of February. I told him we were closed then. After that, we never heard from him again. They'll get married soon, but it won't be here."

And no vows will be swapped at Clooney's place either, at least according to the paparazzi-averse triple Oscar nominee.

"No, it's not at my house," George insists (via "Entertainment Tonight"). "But I would truly enjoy it if people thought it was happening, because you could imagine how many helicopters would be flying over my house, with the lady that lives there, looking up [saying] 'What the hell is going on?'"

Whether Pitt, 42, and Jolie, 30, soon plan to pledge to stay together until the cold clammy hand of death parts them, one thing is certain: The most famous blended family on the planet will continue to grow.

"I'd love to adopt a bunch more kids, have a few and, yeah, just be traveling...," Jolie tells "Nightline" in an interview set to air Thursday. She also reveals her reasons for donating a third of her paycheck to charity: "I make a very good living doing something I love, and I don't think I'd be comfortable with what I have if I didn't. I couldn't sleep at night if I didn't."

And finally, is Pitt hoping to hop on the "Brokeback Mountain" bandwagon? The London Sun, in a highly entertaining if suspect report, says that the A-lister is determined to star in the "ultimate gay love story."

"He wants it to be a story that appeals to both men and women and he wants it to be the edgiest work he's done," an insider tattles to the tab. "He's seen the critical acclaim that 'Brokeback Mountain' has won and he wants a piece of it."
